Often times when I'm reading I come across lines in the novel that I adore. They inspire me to write better lines in my own work.
I want someone to come across one of my sentences and be so excited about how I worded it that they want to use it or share it.
Some of my favorite lines are:
"I thought about the way we invent ourselves through our stories, and in a similar way, how the stories we tell put walls around our lives."
~ Pam Houston in Cowboys Are My Weakness
"She was unblemished as a new sink." ~ Tim Sandlin Rowdy in Paris
'It was a shock to find our passion could just start up again, like a match set to kindling, sparking thick in the throat, flaring in our loins, and burning the years that had gathered in between to ashes." ~ Vicki Pettersson The Scent of Shadows
'My feet just took me where my mouth wanted to be.' ~Karen Moning Darkfever
