Today is the Scare me blogfest with Scifi Media.
The rules:
This is my first Blogfest and it will be happening on 10/31/12. The
purpose of the Scare Me Blogfest is to write about the scariest book
that you have read, Movie you have watched, Ghosts you have encountered,
and/or to share your own scary story.
My entry will be simple: The scariest movie I have seen was Paranormal Activity (The first one). I didn't sleep for a week because possession, ghosts, and demons scare the bees out of me. Partly because I believe it can happen. Just thinking about it makes me look around and hope every light in the house stays on and I'm really glad I have manly Man to sleep with.

You know... my daughter loved that. It didn't quite work for me, maybe because conceptually it was a little like Blair Witch project which I think did a better job at it, but I love that paranormal possession stuff, too.
I haven't watched paranormal activity yet. I listed Amityville Horror which could be the predacessor for those movies. I think ghost hunters and what not have really ruined the paranormal genre for me.
Paranormal frights don't sit well with fairies... lol.

The first 'Paranormal Activity' scared the heck out of me. It was a great alternative to watching the awful 'Saw' movies. I also enjoyed 'Paranormal Activity 2,' but part 3 and 4 were terrible.
I don't like horror movies but I've (reluctantly) seen a few. The one that gave me nightmares was Final Destination. It scared the heck out of me. I saw that movie at a friend's 13th birthday party. Who was the friend? My now husband!

I don't always like scary movies, so haven't seen that way. I feel the same way about zombies... it could happen. Shudder.
Can't watch the paranormal stuff, really creeps me out.

Never watched Paranormal Activity--it certainly seems to be a popular movie, though.
The first one was good. It seemed like they'd actually done some research on real life paranormal reports/claims. Lot of good, quiet chills.
