If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Free Falling

Good morning everyone!

For the month of November I'm going to cut things back a little to make room for writing time. I won't be posting Friday submissions on my facebook tab until I'm done with NaNo and while I might have preplanned posts for this blog- I'll be a little scarce commenting due to time constrictions. Working two jobs and kids plus NaNo- that's a crunch.

I watched the new Tinkerbell movie 'Secret of the Wings' and found it to be shorter than I expected but a great family night movie. My 8 yr old cried because she related to Tinkerbell and didn't want to lose her sister so Jasmyne gave her hugs and told her she might get mad at her sometimes but Kayla wouldn't lose her sister. It was sweet really.

Things I learned this week:

1) It takes me nearly 3 hours to write 2000 words when I'm pantsing my way through.

2) Christmas Jar crafts are super easy and help teach kids patience (the glue takes time)

3) I'm not super mom...My limitations might spread a ways out there- but I do have them.

Nano word count: 2005 words

Have you seen the new Tinkerbell movie?
Learn anything new this week?
What's your NaNo word count?

Happy Friday everyone.

Not participating this year. You're off to a good start. Crap, I can plan ahead and still take five-six hours to hit the minimum word count.

You're off to a great start!

I'm with Alex. I can plan (and do), but I'm a slow writer. At least I am until I hit the 3/4 way mark. Then I'm a writing machine. :)

I'm not doing NaNo, but I wish you lotsa great writing.

It takes me longer to write new words at the beginning of a project than it does toward the end.

Your daughters sounds super sweet, and Tinkerbell sounds good.

Aww, what a sweet moment Tinkerbell inspired. Great start with NaNo. I must buckle down tomorrow for some serious writing. Next week will be a huge distraction for me.

Haven't seen the new Tinker bell movie, but my daughter (6yrs) did like the first one so I'll have to check it out for her. I'm not doing NaNo but it sound like you're off to a good start. Maybe I'll be brave enough to try NaNo next year. Good luck with everything!
