Good morning everyone!
For the month of November I'm going to cut things back a little to make room for writing time. I won't be posting Friday submissions on my facebook tab until I'm done with NaNo and while I might have preplanned posts for this blog- I'll be a little scarce commenting due to time constrictions. Working two jobs and kids plus NaNo- that's a crunch.
I watched the new Tinkerbell movie 'Secret of the Wings' and found it to be shorter than I expected but a great family night movie. My 8 yr old cried because she related to Tinkerbell and didn't want to lose her sister so Jasmyne gave her hugs and told her she might get mad at her sometimes but Kayla wouldn't lose her sister. It was sweet really.
Things I learned this week:
1) It takes me nearly 3 hours to write 2000 words when I'm pantsing my way through.
2) Christmas Jar crafts are super easy and help teach kids patience (the glue takes time)
3) I'm not super mom...My limitations might spread a ways out there- but I do have them.
Nano word count: 2005 words
Have you seen the new Tinkerbell movie?
Learn anything new this week?
What's your NaNo word count?
Happy Friday everyone.

Not participating this year. You're off to a good start. Crap, I can plan ahead and still take five-six hours to hit the minimum word count.
You're off to a great start!
I'm with Alex. I can plan (and do), but I'm a slow writer. At least I am until I hit the 3/4 way mark. Then I'm a writing machine. :)
Awwww the reaction of your kids to the film Tinkerbell is so adorable! Awwwww!
GOOD LUCK with your Nano-ing!!! Take care

No NaNo this month. I learned some bad news...going to be taking a blogging break myself.
Hugs and chocolate,
Shelly

I'm not doing NaNo, but I wish you lotsa great writing.
It takes me longer to write new words at the beginning of a project than it does toward the end.
Hi Summer - good for you - you are stretching yourself .. hope NaNo goes off happily .. and Tinkerbell: I love her .. but haven't seen the new movie. Love Old Kitty's comment about your girls .. cheers Hilary
NaNo - 1,742 officially - have some that I haven't updated with yet today - trying for a chapter finish at least.
Your daughters sounds super sweet, and Tinkerbell sounds good.
Way to Go with your NaNo!
Good luck with NaNoWriMo!
That's a great start! I had a good start to NaNo too.
Aww! That's so cute about the movie and your daughters' reactions. Good luck with NaNo!
Aww, what a sweet moment Tinkerbell inspired. Great start with NaNo. I must buckle down tomorrow for some serious writing. Next week will be a huge distraction for me.
Haven't seen the new Tinker bell movie, but my daughter (6yrs) did like the first one so I'll have to check it out for her. I'm not doing NaNo but it sound like you're off to a good start. Maybe I'll be brave enough to try NaNo next year. Good luck with everything!
Have not seen the new Tink' movie. But I am sure that I will. We believe in Fairies at this house.
Wow.... that is real hard work....3 hours to write 200 words !!
