I've started a new short story that I'm really enjoying. Check out five sentences from one of my newest pieces...
From a new short story:
"What kind of person eats frozen raspberry butterfly wings? Oh, right...me. That's what happens when a person, like myself, chases a mythical creature and falls down a hole designed to trap humans. Goblins, I'm not sure I'll ever get used to their customs."
Okay, technically 4 sentences, but I really like how I began this one.

Very captivating beginning! I like the voice. It sounds like a very fun tale!
Those sentences are BRILLIANT! Well, done Summer!
Great opening!
Love your blog's new look. Really clean and welcoming. :-)
Love the opening! Although I don't think I want to eat butterfly wings, even if they are raspberry flavored. :)
Great snippet! I don't think I could ever get use to goblin customs either.
Love the beginning, Summer! Good stuff!
I love the idea, and the sentences.
Love that first sentence Summer! Amazing. ;)
I imagine Goblin customs would be hard to take. I really like the start. Hope we get to read the rest some day.
