If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Happy Monday!

Wow it's been busy already! I had to fix a check an error from the University- they sent me  six thousand dollars when it should have been about three thousand for classes. Would have made some great padding in the bank though.

Just goes to show whether you write or work a regular job mistakes are still made. Maybe I could use this in a short story somehow- college student receives aide/scholarships, college student spends money, then finds out has to pay it back. All sorts of character lessons could be learned from this experience.

With Summer Semester over I am ending with two solid "B's" and one hopeful "A" as the last class grade has not been submitted.

On a more interesting note, I am taking Contemporary Drama for an English class this semester. I will be exploring plays and screenwriting which should be very rewarding for my writing. I'll let you all in on any secrets I come across through this class as well as anything new about the process I might learn.

Classes start today for me, well actually this evening, so I will do my best to read through blogs as homework allows.

I hope you have a terrific Monday. Happy Writing!

Congratulations and fingers-crossed on the grades.

An extra three thousand dollars? Now that would be nice!

Good luck with classes Summer! And yes, mistakes are made everywhere. But I agree with Ellie, three thousand extra could sure be nice. =)

Too bad they didn't say, "Oh we meant to send you that as a present for all your hard work."

Seriously, that's a great prompt for a writing exercise! ha. What would a college student do with $3000 extra?

Good luck with your classes. :)

Contemporary drama sounds like a ton of fun to take. Wish my college had had those types of classes. Happy Monday to you as well! :)

Whats wrong with these people, don't they know fairies don't get their wings if they lie?

Good luck, big hug and should we start calling you "Drama Queen" now or wait a bit? :)

Congrats Summer. Terrific grades.

Your new class sounds great. I love plays and screenwriting although I don't write in those venues.
