If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Relax

Two days out in the middle of nowhere at Alcova Lake and honestly I missed my computer so much! Yet the time away gave me some relaxing images and a wonderful experience I shared with my girls.

I have pictures for you of some great sights, but before I get there I'd like to let you know my new blogging schedule is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

This first picture is the lake- where we did all of our swimming and I can't even begin to express how good the water felt right before sundown.

This Next picture is of the same lake right as night began to emerge.

And finally the last picture is of our campfire, but I played with my camera and was able to take it in negative form which made it look really pretty in the picture.

I saw the sunset and the moon rise two nights in a row and I am impressed by the awe of the sight. I wish I could have taken a picture of the moon rising for all of you, but no matter what i tried it came out as a tiny what dot in the middle of a black back ground. So I'll describe it for you, even though it will do little justice towards the image.

Along the horizon of the dark hills a light emerged creating a white blue glowing effect across the water and the hills. Then the moon came up in its glory lighting our entire camping area in a bashful white light. It was beautiful.

Your moon photo sounds like any I've taken - yes, really, that's the moon, not a speck!

Sometimes we need a break from our computers. I'm going swimming in a half hour, just to get away from it and get some exercise, and summer is almost over!
I love your description of the moon rising. You painted a beautiful picture for us!
