If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Ad Prompt- Beauty

Fairy friends,
I am almost at 500 followers! Thank you all so very much and welcome to all of my new followers. This is Fairy exciting! I'm thinking that a blogfest might be in order- have any suggestions?

I came across this picture a few days ago and it struck me as so fairy enchanting! I'll admit I'm a fan of Jolie- but the picture itself is what I look for in picture prompts for my writing. Take a look, then in the comments come up with one or two sentences to go with the picture.

I can't really come up with anything original except to say how Ms Jolie is one of the most stunning of women ever and what a dreamy setting too! Apparently she's gone au naturale - as in no make up!! Stunning woman!! Stunning country! Take care

Under tower and balcony,
By garden-wall and gallery,
A gleaming shape she floated by,
Dead-pale between the houses high,
Silent into Camelot.
Out upon the wharfs they came,
Knight and Burgher, Lord and Dame,
And around the prow they read her name,
The Lady of Shalott.

Old Kitty- I agree!

Wendy- That is really beautiful!

Yay for the amount of followers!

Angie is thinking:

"Yes, it is really me...Alleged Author. Once I have a publishing contract I will be able to take away the dog picture and show the world my natural beauty!" :P

In all seriousness, it's a truly wonderful picture (looks painted, no?).

Summer Ross said...

Alleged- I agree it does look painted.

My first thoughts were
love it!
But those aren't very poetic ;)

Speaking of poetry (I really didn't plan that) I am hosting a poetry blogfest and would love to be put on your list :)
Thanks. Your blog is the first one I check for upcoming blogfests!

Congrats on the followers! :)

The boat rocked from side to side, tilting just enough to create long ripples, trailing behind her as she stared at the sun through the mist.

HI Summer...

She sits poised, waiting. A glint of gold reflects off in the distance. Could it be him?

The mountains reached up behind her, rising above the wetlands, but Shallan could only look back at her land. Barefoot, with only a knapsack and one faithful servant to row her to her destination, she mourned for her land, her fallen husband, and started plotting her return.
