If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

I adore Lora Croft almost as much as I love Hannibal Lecter. Ruthlessness, brains and beauty (in different ways, I guess) packaged in one capable body.

Great selections!

OO, cool, a quiz :)

1/Sarah Connor - Terminator is an epic movie!
2/ Buffy - I've always preferred Willow, but then she could appear in both heroes and villains ;P
3/ Lara Croft
4/ Tinkerbell (I loved Hook)
5/ Hannibal Lecter - Anthony Hopkins was so intimidating in that role.
6/ The Joker (Tim Burton's Batman is a movie I watch again every so often, Jack Nicholson is devilishly nuts in it)
7/ Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund's incarnation of Freddy was so good I am reluctant to watch the remake, but I recently got a rec for it, so I might just check it out.
8/ (The Lord of) Darkness/The Devil (Legend was one of the first fantasy movies I ever saw and for a long time I had no idea that Tim Curry played the big bad)

Nice selection and I enjoyed the quiz :)

I was considering the Joker in my post too. I was torn between Jack Nicklson's portral or Heath Ledger's. Both I really loved. They made the villain so memorable. I feel like I should know the last villain, but can't think of who he is or where he's from.

Hmmm...let's see if I remember these correctly....

Sara Conner
Buffy Summers
Lara Croft
Tinkerbell
Hannibal Lecter
The Joker
Frederick Kruger
Evil (Big D), from 'Legend'

All great picks!

You have chosen all of my favourite heros. Any post that starts with Sarah Connor, Buffy and Lara Croft (not forgetting Tink) has got to be a good one.

Wow- great picks. Especially all of the strong, powerful ladies. I love Sarah Connor, how she started out soft and become a super strong girl in the end. Buffy is always kick-ass, and as far as the villains go, I still think the dark Lord from Legend is exactly how I picture the devil to look!!

I think I know most of them. The Terminator and Legend are two of my most favorite movies.

Is Linda Hamilton your hero or The Terminator?

Joker is a great villian.

Completely forgot about the Terminator. Sarah Connor's a great heroine, and what a villain the terminator was. Classic. Great pics :)
