If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

 Weekend Writing Warriors

Catch up:  Ebony found an intruder in her home, snuck to the kitchen in the dark- retrieved her cast iron pan from above the stove, and hit him over the head with it when he came to the kitchen. He passed out. She moved a chair to the stove slipped a rope around the pan and hung it above the chair, slipknotting where his hands would go. Then she began the heavy lifting to get him to the chair...

8 sentence Sunday from Bloodstone.

Grunts and gasps escaped as she yanked his form. It took several minutes to accomplish but she finally hauled him to the chair. She must have hit him harder than she thought, because he didn’t stir the entire time. She’d check him when she had him tied up. Ebony worked diligently and at last had him sitting, or rather slumping in the chair. She wrapped the rope around his hands and the arms rests. She tested the rope when she had him secured. Ebony lifted his wrist and the pan swung down toward his head.

No! Don't hit him again! I love your description of the struggle she has to tie him up.

I like her style. Bet he deserved getting whacked with the pan.

She's so clever. I'm actually looking forward to him waking up now, lol.

Wow she sure is determined! I'm not sure I'd have the guts to do that, the guy *could* wake up anytime and I might not be able to knock him out again!

Did I understand this right, that she's about to smack him again even though he's still unconscious?

I do believe that Ebony is awesome. Wow.

oh no! Did she knock him out again? LOL that's really going to hurt when he wakes up hehe. Can't wait to know what happens next!

Uh oh, she might scramble his brains permanently and then she won't get any answers!! (And I want some LOL)

She's hitting him again? He's not even stirred!
I must say this reminded me a little of the scene from Tangled where she only has a frying pan. :)

Was it necessary to bop him again? Yikes. Maybe she's killed him and the story ends--2pages long or short.

She is one tough lady but I'm sorry, get out of the house? Call 911? I wouldn't be dragging a heavy guy around and doing complicated knots LOL. But she has more presence of mind in an emergency than I do, I guess!

If she kills him, it's going to be a really short book. Go easy on that cast iron pan, girl.

Oh I get it now! (Following last weeks) if he tries to get away he'll get smacked with the frying pan. Clever.

Trying to visualize this--has she tied him in such a way that if he struggles he'll hit hiself with the pan?

Hooked. Now I must know WHY. Why is she hitting him?

I love the way her mind works.
