If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Wednesday Writing prompt

Practice, practice, practice writing. Writing is a craft that requires both talent and acquired skills. You learn by doing, by making mistakes and then seeing where you went wrong.
Jeffrey A. Carver

Here is todays writing prompt:
Your character finds a box of scorched human hair. Whose is it and how did it get there?

think about the five senses, maybe just write up what it would smell like, look like, feel like, without using a cliche? Maybe use metaphors and similes to help you...

With so many blogfests coming up this could be an opportunity to make a new piece for one of those writing blogfests. Good luck everyone!

Don't forget you have until friday to add your sentence to Mondays Wit win- Wing it

The teacher could smell the horrible odor. "What on earth?" she thought. Slowly walking the aisles stopping at Henry's seat. Oh, the odor. "Henry, hand me that box." she demanded.

Reluctantly Henry handed her the box, where she immediately opened it. There inside was the remnants of what use to be a blonde lock, all burnt and reeking.

Just then the teachers eyes saw Gingers lovely blonde curly head; missing a chunk.

Henry and teacher are now on their way to detention.

You Go Fairy Friend!!!! :D

Great exercise, and I totally agree with Jeffrey.

I'm not one for writing prompts. I'm too busy as it is with my wip and blog posts.

Intriguing prompt. It makes you wonder so many things. Using the five senses should make for some very interesting stories.

Love that quote, and it's true. No one gets better ant anything unless they practice.

Nice prompt too. Although a box of scorched human hair makes me think of creepy things. *shudder* lol
