Wow, that stinks. I have to agree with Alex and E. Elle, though. I'm glad they were nice and even encouraging. They didn't shut the door in your face....they kind of left an open invitation....you don't do that with people you don't like, right?
Words Crafter- Yup they left the door open to me, and I would suppose if they didn't like my writing they wouldn't have. Thanks for pointing that out!

You're making a collage of rejections?! That's hilarious; what a great idea. I used to have 300+ rejection letters, which I finally tossed one year when I moved into a dinky apartment. Still collecting the email type though. ;o)

It sucks that you got rejected, but it'll make the people that accept you all the more awesome for doing so! :)
Sorry for your rejection but it was polite, that's a pretty nice thing. Right?
My favorite rejection came from a literary agent who did not see a compatibility with the novel I'd submitted, but who had also left open the door of possibility for me to submit something else to them in the future.
You'll get that yes yet.
Keep trying, Summer. You'll make it. I believe you will!
