If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Express yourself- 3-29-2013

I'm participating in the Express yourself Meme from Entertaining Interests.

As I child I found I adored books at an early age, but one genre really sucked me in and twisted inside my heart clutching until nails were imbedded under my skin...Horror. I was a huge fan of R.L. Stine and Christopher Pike. My favorite book series was Goosebumps of course.

The one book that stands out the most is The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight by R. L. Stine
I still have that book and several others, though my oldest daughter reads them now.

Check out this short interview-

I'm afraid I was past childhood when those books were big, so I've never read any of them.

I have to admit to not hearing of Goosebumps series and its author but I loved the interview!! He seems such a jolly fellow and he got kids to read which is a brilliant thing to achieve!! Thanks for this clip! Take care

I read everything as a kid, but I think the Narnia series stood out the most for me.

Hi Summer - I read oodles when I was a kid .. I was always happily found on the floor or bed devouring story after story ..

The Goosebump ones passed me by -but I'm sure I'd have added them to my reading pile ..

Happy Easter to you and the family ... have fun - Hilary
