If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

FF- unpopular

 http://parajunkee.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/FF_2013Button.png

What is a book you didn’t like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn’t popular?

~ I loved The Scarlett Letter even when I had to read it in school. The way that this book was written romanticized the past- culture- for me. Not as in I thought it romantic, but more it gave me an impression that stuck with me for years to come. Hester is such a strong leading lady.

I read the first book in a YA series involving vampires running a town. (Don't remember the series.) It's a popular series but I found most of the characters annoying. Most of their problems stemmed from not talking to one another and that just drives me nuts. Say something!

Thanks for stopping by - happy to return the follow. I have to admit, for one of those "forced to read in high school" books, The Scarlet Letter was quite good.

Donna Tartt's Secret History. I totally could not like this book much as I tried, much less the characters and their situation! But I'm in the minority!

Take care

Dan Simmons is really popular but I found The Terror to be overlong and boring.

Lots of luck to Mary on her new book!

One of the books everyone loved that I couldn't get into at all was Gone With the Wind. Even after I watched the movie, I still couldn't read the book.

I haven't read that book yet, even though its on my TBR pail.
