If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Gnomeo and Juliet VS The Green Hornet

In the first corner we have Gnomeo and Juliet Coming in with eight people sitting in the theatre including me and manly man. In the second corner walking in with four people in the theatre is The Green Hornet.

The Run down ladies and gentleman:
Both movies have some witty lines and humor that made me laugh.

Neither I would suggest seeing in the theatre- wait for DVD.

Gnomeo and Juliet was a fun kid friendly version of Romeo and Juliet and even Shakespeare makes an appearance. Star points of course- because naturally I'm a writer.

The green Hornet had all the lack luster of Stupid humor with some very interesting fight scenes a kick butt car called Black beauty and some surprising twists at the ending even my writers brain hadn't figured out. Star points for the twists.

Ultimately, both movies come in with a 3 star review from me. If you have children- they will enjoy Gnomeo and Juliet, and if you like great gadget cars with surprise endings then The Green hornet might work for a fun in home movie.
So has anyone else seen either of these? What did you think?

I went to see Gnomeo & Juliet at the weekend and liked it, but I agree that it is really 'wait for the DVD' kind of film. It was missing a lot of the 'for adults' humour that really great kids films have. I'll have to check out The Green Hornet now just to find out the twist ending!

No and I want to see both. Love animation and I grew up with original Green Hornet TV series. But I watch all my movies from home, I like the pause button and my own bathroom :)

No, my movie dollars are in short supply, so unless I am desperate for a night out or really want to see a movie I go.

Thanks for stopping by, Summer! I can't wait to see Gneomeo and Juliet at home (sweats, popcorn, pause button). I'm a Shakespeare fan and wanna see how Will translates into kids-speak. Sounds like fun!
