If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

Friday freebie and FF-Mom in fiction

Fridays I post freebie kindle books I find interesting- some I've read some I haven't. Today I have 3 to share with you. Some won't be free for long.

The first one I have read. Replacing Gentry has some great twists I wasn't expecting. Julie Ford did an excellent job at keeping my attention. Worth the read.

The second one I have read. Iced Romance is a humor based quirky romance. The main character has a great deal of personality. Worth the read.

The third one I have not read but did add to my TBR pile. Love the cover.

Now for FF Question:

Who is your favorite mom from fiction?

I'll give it to you straight I don't read many young adult novels. Most of the adult novels I read don't feature a mom prominently. However I have to admit out of my adult reading list I really enjoyed the times when Rachel Morgan's mother appeared. She was funny. She's from Kim Harrison's 'Hollows' series.

Whose your favorite mom in fiction?
Have any amazing plans for mother's day?

Happy Friday!

I don't read young adult either. And at the moment, can't think of a fiction book mom.

I haven't read anything by Kim Harrison but I think she has some books on my to-read list.

I don't read too many young adult books either, but the Rock Chick series I'm reading now (adult) by Kristen Ashley, does feature moms. They are all awesome, bar one in the 5th book I've just finished. Well, she wasn't cool to start off with, but by the end of the book, she turned into (finally) a fab mom.

My favorite mom in fiction? Well, I just had to go look at my collection of books to realize that there are no moms in my favorite books. Maybe it has to do with my own mom being absent from my life for the most part.

I don't read YA either. Can I pick the mom on Burn Notice? It's Tv, though.
