Blank pages...yup I said it. It's unthinkable to a writer like me. I have issues with blank pages, the kind of issues that scream at me to flip open the notebook and create a scene worthy of the page it's on. Worthy of the trees it sprang from.
Notebooks- while it doesn't have an all time great etymology that inspires images in my head. The pages all by themselves do. All I really need to do is walk down any isle in any store that has notebooks in it and before long I have at least 3 new ones in my basket and can't wait to get home and write in them.
Do you write in journals?
Do you go out and buy notebooks like some people buy food?
What does a blank page inspire for you?

I sometimes write in a notebook. Last two manuscripts were on the computer though as I was doing NaNo and BuNo.
I have crappy handwriting so these days I make do with word documents on my pc but I have seen some gorgeous journals for sale!
Take care

I love blank pages. And pens. And notebooks. I make my own journals with scratch paper from my husband's office, a huge loose leaf binder and a three hole punch. Ah deliciousness!
I can match your need to bring home books with my obsession with buying pens. ;)
I use notebooks for journaling--I don't do much writing on paper, though I love to look at all the different notebooks out there. :)
I'd be lost now without my notebook. I make all my notes and snippets of information down in my book. I like the blank page ready to fill it with ideas :)
I love the look and feel of a new notebook. Unfortunately, now that I have an iPad, I keep all my information in one place. It's easier on my aging mind!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
