If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

I- Imp (Razzle from my novel)

I chose Imp because I currently have a very interesting character named Razzle in my novel Bloodstone. He's an imp with with his own agenda and almost lovable in his own creepy way. Here are some quotes from Razzle, right out of my novel.

~Their skin held on too tight to their bodies and they had no tails. Razzle shuddered; no tail was worse than missing arms or legs. It was unnatural.
~ Razzle was sure he could, possibly even eat human words and spit fire from their essence.

~Smelly human, he could claw at her insides and eat her fat while she gasped for air when his Master was through with them all.

~Razzle snapped his fingers and headed in Nicole’s direction. She would make a wonderful human costume.

~ “I need your help little morsel.” Razzle spoke to it as if it had a choice.

Are you working on anything either reading or writing wise that includes imps?

Sorry, I've never written about imps. But yours sounds interesting, especially thinking tails are so important. Thanks for sharing this.

Ah, Razzle! :) No imps here, but I am adding fairies to the sequel! And I just wrote in a character named Summer with long brown hair...

Razzle sounded cute at first, then not so much! Brrrr! Great job. Eating words, huh? :-) I've had to eat a few of mine -- emotional indigestion time!!

Hi Summer - as Roland says .. I thought Razzle was fun .. but he's quite clever if he can spit fire from the essence of words ...

Yugh though ... I've gone off imps ..

Cheers Hilary

I'm really interested in Razzle just from these quotes. Love the name too!

Razzle... love that name.

Nope, I'm not writing anything with imps. I'm pretty much a contemporary girl.

He sounds like a mischievous little imp!

Up to this point, there are no imps in my work. I could use an mischievous imp in my fantasy novel - at the moment I had him pegged at somewhere closer to troll on the magical beings spectrum ;)
