If I had to describe myself, it would be in a word that has many meanings with a complexity which falls off the tongue.
A word made up of many elements, is deceptive in appearance, and creates an illusion from the imagination.
My word would be Phantasmagoric. ~Summer Ross

U- Urban Dictionary

Want a fun site to procrastinate- oops I mean find inspiration in? Urban dictionary has you covered. From slang meanings to down right funny meanings. Some of them make sense some of them don't. But don't rely too heavily on its use as an actual dictionary for facts. It's for fun and really can give your mind something else to do while you await that next big story idea.

This site is always great for a laugh. And I usually find something that ends up making me blush too LOL.

I found the site some time ago. Some of the definitions on there are actually quite creative.

Okay - this is a fun site. My daughter has mentioned it before. I should have checked it out then.

Good resource for looking for ways to make our characters' dialogue feel more authentic. Great topic for "U"!

Clever and some of them are a bit naughty, as my mother used to say. LOL Thanks for the link.

Hi. I recently used Urban Dictionary to critique a friend's YA novel. Had no idea what the slang meant. I'd be so lost without the internet!

The Urban Dictionary is the place I go when I hear slang I don't get. Some of it is quite nasty, but it's good to know what a "rusty rim" is, for example.

LOVE! (But i did NOT need one more site to add to my list of ways to waste time...) xoxo

Oh yeah, for sure some super funny stuff. Makes you think, "Do people really say that?" Great for conversation.

I like some of the definitions on Urban Dictionary better than the more traditional Merriam-Webster. They are more funky and, well, descriptive sometimes.

The urban dictionary sounds useful for quirky characters' speech.
