Hello Fairy friends-
I bet you couldn't guess what I would do the "F" day about---
Did you know: (Yes I made these all up by myself)
Have you seen any shooting stars lately?

- Dragon flies are put in a fairies' dust bag as a practical joke. Something about a Dragon fly really mucks up the magic inside making it do all sorts of crazy things! "Mischief magic"
- When a dragon fly gets fairy dust on it, it turns into a Lady frog (anagram)
- A firefly turns into a fairy as it matures.
- and finally if you see a shooting star its because a little curious fairy tried to ride one.
Have you seen any shooting stars lately?

No shooting stars here, just rain and more rain, then a little snow, then rain again. I long for spring and dragonflies. You know what I miss? Fireflies, don't have them over here ;(
Good morning Summer. Love your post. I dedicated my post to you today so stop on by, I think you'll love it.

Fluttering fairies, female frogs, feisty fireflies, flying famous people (wait, stars..?) I think you've covered everything - yay for F! :)
I really like the "when a dragon fly gets fairy dust on it, it turns into a lady frog." Brilliant! Unfortunately, I haven't seen any shooting stars lately. Perhaps when it is warmer. :)
Really sweet, Summer.
I love your fairy twists...
Fairy cute!
We don't have fireflies either, at least I've never seen one. Cute post.
I've never seen any shooting stars, sadly enough! That would be freakin adorable though.
I have never in all my 41 years on this planet ever ever ever seen a shooting star!! And I believe in fairies too! So not fair! :-) Take care

I love these! My family and I used to go camping every summer, and we'd see shooting stars pretty often. Those mischievous fairies were joyriding!
How cute, yes, I've seen a few shooting stars.
I've only seen maybe 2 ever. None recently.
I love your little tidbits into fairy life.
This was so fun!!! Loved it. :-)
Summer, you are so creative! I love your fairy trivia. :) Where are the links to your books? I want to wander in your world. :)

Marian Allen- I feel humbled by your question- honestly I have no books out yet, I have only had two publications thus far- neither in the fey world, but I'm working on it. :)
Sweet post!! I wish I'd seen a shooting star tonight, its beautiful out tonight, I spent some time in the garden. ;) *big smile*
When we see a shooting star this summer I'll be sure to repeat this to my great-grandson. Such fun!

No I have not seen one but the next one I do I'll laugh thinking about your reasoning :) Where can I get some of that "Mischief magic?" That sounds fun too!

Clever! Dragon flies=mischief magic was my favorite. Good luck with the challenge!
But .. but .. but .. I like dragonflies.
sounds like the makings of a great story world!
Love it! I was waiting to see what fun you would post today! :)
Oh, I love this! Wonderul new "facts" about fairies. I've only ever seen two shooting stars, and they happened so fast I forgot to make a wish. Troublesome fairies! Hey I just noticed from your profile that you are in Wyoming! Still there? What town? I'm in LAramie.
I love your explanations - they're adorable!
